Dental Implants

A dental implant is used to support one or more false teeth. It is a titanium screw that can act as a replacement root of a tooth. Implants are placed into the jawbone.

If well looked after, dental implants can last for many years or for as long as you care for them.

Your dental team will advise you on the best aftercare plan including instructions on how to look after them. Aftercare is essential if you want long-lasting and successful implants.

Crown

A crown is an artificial restoration that fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth. This makes it strong and gives it the natural shape of a tooth. A crown is sometimes known as a ‘cap’.

You may need a crown if you have a damaged tooth.

We offer crowns in a range of materials E-max crowns, zirconia, porcelain bonded crowns and alloy crowns.

With the use of our industry-leading technology, we can colour match the crown so it seamlessly fits in with the remaining natural teeth.

Bridges

A bridge is made up of two or more crowns. It bridges a gap that has been created by missing teeth.

We supply bridges in a range of materials including E-max crowns, zirconia, porcelain bonded crowns and alloy crowns.

Caring for your new bridge is highly important when it comes to preventing bad breath and gum disease. You should be cleaning them daily, including cleaning under the false tooth. Your dentist will show you how to clean them using a bridge needle or special floss.

Bridges can last up to 15 years or longer when taken care of properly.

Veneers

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of your teeth. Often, a natural-coloured ‘composite’ is used to get an exact match.

Veneers have a very natural and healthy appearance making them perfect for anyone who feels insecure about the colour of their teeth. Little to no preparation is needed due to it being a very thin layer and are held in place using a special adhesive.

No. As the production time is so slight, temporary veneers will not be necessary. After preparation, your teeth will feel the same but less smooth.
